My Experience for your Success
The will to make a difference, the desire to support people in achieving their goals and the experience of what inspires and motivates people and teams to move mountains – these are my personal drivers!
About me
After studying business administration in Cologne (with a focus on marketing and business psychology) and gaining my first practical marketing experience in New York, Wella and Procter & Gamble in particular shaped my entrepreneurial thinking and actions.
I was given the opportunity to work analytically and strategically and to practice thinking in entrepreneurial contexts early on, first at AEG Hausgeräte and later at Wella in various marketing functions. As Area Sales Director for Northern and Eastern Europe, I was given my first international management responsibility. Finally, as Managing Director, I was given sole responsibility for the Austrian fragrance business. After Wella was taken over and integrated by Procter & Gamble, the world’s largest consumer goods group at the time, I was entrusted with the management of three sales teams in the D-A-CH region in addition to my role as Country Manager and Managing Director.
After a brief foray into consulting at YouGov, which came to a quick end as a result of the global financial crisis of 2008/2009, I took the opportunity to attend a summer school in Beijing and Shanghai, which opened my eyes to Asia. The experience I had gained up to that point formed the perfect basis for taking on responsibility for global sales at Mäurer & Wirtz – a medium-sized, family-owned manufacturing company that had a market-leading position in Germany.
I spent four years traveling between Japan, Australia and America and got to know many interesting people, new markets and foreign cultures!
Since 2009, I had already completed a number of training courses and thus prepared myself for the step into self-employment. Four years later, I started my own business as a consultant for international business development and business coach. Since 2022, I have also been working as a lecturer for marketing at the FHWien of the WKW (Vienna Chamber of Commerce) and am learning new things every day about how to deal with Generation Z.
Factors that shape my basic attitude:
- Question and broaden your own perspective.
- Think in a solution- and result-oriented manner in contexts and systems.
- Aligning our actions today with the needs of tomorrow.
- Be open to new things: study and try!*
- Personal values and principles.
